★Sep. 11th
Today I went on campus and met my teachers! It was first day to spend in TRU. I was so nervous at first, but my teachers were very kind. I listened to talking from teachers. At lunch time, I ate sandwitches that i made by myself yesterday. After lunch, we went campus tour! I was very excited about knowing TRU. Campus tour was very fun!! TRU is larger than KSU. Especially, I was very surprised that TRU has a nurse station! I think that it is exciting to study in this campus for three months. After all today’s class, I played basketball with my classmates and Tarun! I spent a great time today! I will study English hard!
★Sep.23rd
Today, I joined in TRU LEAP. First, I watched a car race. I have never watched a car race, so I was very excited. There were many cars in Cache creek. After watching a car race, I went to the resutaurant . I ate two tacos. It was very delicious, but it was spicy, so I was dirinking a lot coke. After that, I went to the park. In the park, I could see cars which used in car race. While seeing cars, I could make a new friend. His name is Oumi! Miyuu and I could exchange with each contacts! He said that he did a part-time job in Tim Hortons near North Shore Exchange! I am going to meet with him someday!! It was a good time in TRU LEAP.
Sep.28th
I did school activities! I enjoyed indoor rock climbing!!!! I am scared of high, so indoor rock climbing was too diff icult for me. But the instructer taught me many lectures, so I enjoyed climbing very much. I was so tired because I have never done indoor rock climbing. I would like to resr for long time. My friend, Miyuu could climb very difficult wall for many times. I was so exciting to see her climbing!! It was sooo amazing. Finally, we split into teams and played against each other. My team was lost due to my fault, I was sorry……. But, I really enjoyed indoor rock climbing(^▽^)/
★Sep.30th
I went to Vancouver. I took a bus for five hours. When I came to Vancouver, I was so excited!! First, I went to the hotel. After that, I went to the gastown. I saw a famous steam clock!!! It was soooo amazing and beautiful. Next I went to the souvenior shop. I bought many items for my family and friends. Finally, I did fly over Canada. This is the amusement ride which can watch the view in Canada by watch in a short movie. It was so exciting. To be honest, we could do it for two times because some people did not fasten his seat belt. I was so lucky and I really enjoyed for the first day.
Oct. 1st
This was the second day in Vancouver. I went to the MacArthur Design Outlet. I went there at ten a.m, so I could enjoy for long time. I bought clothes and bag. Actually, I could buy the bad in kate spade New york!!!!! It was sooooo cute and getting cheaper. I wasted my money, so I have to save money for the rest of two months. After that, I went to the Granville Island. I took the water taxi. It was so amazing. In the Granville Island, I drank grapefruits juice and dounuts. It was so delicious!!!! Finally, I went to the Japanese tendon restaurant!!! Tendon consists of Japanese rice and tempura. It was so good!!!! I was impressed with this taste. It was wonderful day!!!!!
Oct.7th and 8th
I spent time with my host family. We celebrated a Thanksgiving! I ate turkey, mashed potatos, and pumpkin pie. I talked with my host family for a long time, so I was glad!!!!! In Japan, we do not have a Thanksgiving, but we have a national holiday on Octover 8th. It is sports day!! In 1964, the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics was held on this day! So, Japanese people also have good rest on this weekend. In my hometown, this season was held a festival to celebrate harvest. We are thanksful for vegetable, rice and so on. We carry a portable shrine on our shoulder. A portable shrine are called mikoshi in Japan! It is very sacred things, so men only carry.

Thanksgiving was good experience for me because I will not celebrate in the future in Japan. It became one of my memory!!
★October 8th
I did pumpkin patch with my host family. I went to desert hills to get pumpkins. There are many pumpkins in desert hills, so it was hard to choose my pumpkin, I chose a beatiful shape pumpkin. I said to my host mother, ”I found my pumpkin! ” . My host mother said ”You chose nice pumpkin! ” I was so glad. After coming back home, I carved my pumpukin along writing face. I wrote pumpkin shape which my mother gave me. I carved a simple pumpkin, but my host family made their original pumpkin! They were so nice!! My host brother carved a big pumpkin. And he combined his girfriend’s pumpkin! I was so surprised their ideas. Carving pumpkin was so difficult for me because it needed strong power. But, I was very excited. It was first time to carve the pumpkin, so I really enjoyed!! I was thankful to my host family.
Oct.14th
I went Wells Gray Park. First, we saw very big waterfall. Actually, I have never seen waterfall, so I was really excited!!!! The scale of waterfall was so large, so I was very surprised!! I took a lot of pictures. After seeing waterfall, we climbed a mountain. I was tired a little bit, but I could relax by seeing nature. It was unique time for me!!! also
Oct. 17th
We did a birthday party for Misako. Her birthday was October 19th, but we had a fieldwork that day. So we celebrated today!! First, we sang a bithday song. I was so happy to celbrate for Misako. In Japan, we sing a birthday song just like Canada. Next, we took many pictures with Tarun and Melanie. I really enjoyed today, because I could see Misako’s smiling face!! In addition, we ate a chocolate cake. I can not forget the taste of chocolate cake (´;ω;｀) It was so delicious!! I was so glad to spend with my classmate in her birthday!! I wished she can spend a nice year♡
Oct.21st
I went to O’keefe Ranch.First, I met many animals. I met goats, sheeo and horse. I was glad to touch many animals. Next, I went to the antique house. It was so old, I was excited because I have never seen the antique furniture, They were like ”beauty and the beast” world in Disney. Next, I went ot Falkland. I enjoyed entering haunted house because i like haunted house!!!! I really enjoyed, but my friends were scary. It was a good time.
Oct.22nd
Today I hung out with my friends! First, I went to WINNERS. I bought a white sweater. It was so cute, so I was happy to buy it. In lunch time, I ate wakayama ramen! I ate black tonkotsu taste ramen. This ramen had a strong taste, so I was a little thirsty. But it was sooo delicious!!!! After lunch, I went to many shops. I bought some snacks with my friends. After that, we went to the Starbucks. I had a good weekend with my friends!!
Oct.28th
Today, I went to Red Robin with my friend. I ordere a hamburger and fries. The taste of hamburger was so delicious, but it had a strong taste. After lunch, we went to Aberdeen Mall to buy cosmestics! I wanted to buy a lip in Canada when I was in Japan. So, I was so glad to buy a lip. Also, I bought a perfume!!! For the first time, I bought a brand perfume. I want to be a good woman with the lip and perfume!!!!!
Nov. 17th
Today, I went to Kelowna for wine tour. I went to Summehill Pyramid winery. First, we listened to how to make wine by winery staff, I was surprised because I could see pyramid in the winery. In addition, we did tasting four types of wine. First, we tasted sparkling wine. It was so delicious and easy to drink. I was excited because I didn’t have tasting experience. But, my facechanged red soon!! I was so embarrassed but it was one of memorable things.After going to the winery, we went to the downtown in Kelowna. I ate a hamburger with my friends! After that, we went to the mall. I took a picture with my friends in the photo booth in mall. It was so fun !!!! Also, I bought a cute mirror. Actually, my mirror was broken a few week ago, so I wanted to buy it! It was good shopping for me! I really enjoyed in Kelowna!
Nov.18th
Today, I ate breakfast with my friends! We went Cora Breakfast and Lunch! I ordered sausage wraps. It was so delicious, but I was full because there were a lot of french fries. My friends ordered pancakes! It looked so delicious, too!!!! I had a good breakfast. After that, we went to TRU wolfpack to play badminton! To be honest, the court was full and there were no rackets. So we have to wait for a few minutes. I was so tired to play badminton because I ate too much food in my breakfast. I am not good at playing badminton, but my friends helped me, so I could enjoy it! After coming back to home, I decolated our Christmas Tree with my host family. My mother handed me the ornament, then I decorated the tree. I could see so many ornaments. For example, there were some ornaments which is a picture of the host sister and brother! It was so cute! Actually, I do not have Christmas tree in Japan in my house, so it was so exciting for me to put on ornaments! After that, I enjoyed talking time with my friends. I had a good time today!
★Nov.22nd
Today, I went to Peter’s pasta with my friends after school. We came there before opening the restraunt, but there were already people lined up. I was so surprised and upset because we have to go to sandman center at 7:00 pm to watch the hockey game! When we entered there, a lot of people were sitting! When I sat the chair, I ordered caesar salad and seafood tomato cream pasta. Acutually, my favorite food is shrimps, so I ordered it!!! First, the staff served salad. It was so delicious but there was a little too much food, so I was full.Next, I ate pasta. That pasta was unbelievably delicious.I was impressed with its taste. I wanted to go there again before leaving Canada. After going to restaurant, we watched the hockey game. My friend was able to get tickets online, but unfortunately I couldn’t get tickets online and it was cancelled. So I bought tickets in the front desk in the sandman center! I was able to buy there. I was so glad!! The game was so interesting. The audience was very excited! Finally Kamloops Blazers won the game! I was so glad!
Nov.26th
Today, I joined santa parade with my classmates! Before santa parade, I ate Mongolian cuisine with my friend! The restaurant style was buffet, so I could choose any food on the noodles!! It was so exciting for me because there are a lot of shrimps. It was so delicious!!After lunch we went to the santa parade. I dressed up Christmas tree costume. Many people said ”Christmas tree” when they saw me! It was good time for me.
